About Bassets

Bassets opened in June 2002 in Endless Street, Salisbury by David Clayton, the Managing Director. David had not worked in estate agency before, however had experienced at first hand the varied quality of service provided by estate and lettings estates from a customer's perspective. He was clear from the start that the level of service and professionalism provided was absolutely key in an industry which still has one of the worst reputations of any professions. The business was called "Bassets" because: At Bassets, we have always taken pride in being different from the competition (e.g. being more professional, ethical and proactive, better communicators and negotiators, etc. And this is why the phrase "Different in so many ways" symbolises and drives the way we do business.

Our service has been singled out by our customers consistently over the years helping us achieve accolades including Best Business of the Year in Salisbury & District, Best Estate Agent in Wiltshire and Hampshire, Best Letting Agent in Wiltshire and 3rd Best Small Estate Agent in the UK.

We also commit a lot of time and money to supporting local projects and activities, both small and large.

In 2004, the Salisbury Office moved into Castle Street, with our Amesbury Office opening in 2005 and our Fordingbridge Office in 2007. Since opening in 2002, we have also built up a large portfolio of rental properties in these areas.
